On December 19, 2019, Woofee Laser Technology Co., Ltd. held its opening ceremony in Jiangsu Suqian Laser Industrial Park.
At the opening ceremony, Musk, founder and general manager of the company, expressed a sincere welcome to all the guests attending the ceremony. Lin Honghuan, deputy director of the Optical Waveguide Laser Technology Research Center of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, said that as an exploration of applying results of military-civilian integration, the practice of Woofee is promising, and hopefully woofee can overcome challenges, maintain its driving force of innovation, its open mind on cooperation, and achieve profound growth in terms of technology development, product improvement and service perfection.
Yang Xiulu, director of the Management Committee of Sucheng Economic Development Zone, said in his speech that the official launch of business operation of the Woofee Laser Project has further improved Suqian's laser and optoelectronic industry chain, filled the gap of fiber laser production in Suqian's laser industry, and greatly improved the development and influence of the Suqian laser industry. He also expressed his confidence that Woofee Laser will grow bigger and stronger by giving full play to its technical advantages.
After the celebration, Musk accompanied the guests to visit the Woofee R&D Center. Woofee's advanced production equipment and technologies were well recognized by the guests and industry experts. Song Jinfeng, technical director of Woofee, explained in detail the product R&D process and application scenes for the guests on the spot.
